Around the corner

Its amazing how many emotions I’m feeling about the new release being around the corner!

I’m nervous, excited, anxious and hopeful all in one! You know when SonyBMG and I parted ways, I remember feeling that that was the best thing that could have ever happen to me, because now I could do everything on my own terms! I knew what I was getting myself into, because in a lot of ways I was starting all over. The work load was more, the cost was more, I had to put in more time and energy than ever before, but I excepted those challenges, because anything worth while takes a lot of work!

I’m not saying it was easy getting to this point, but it was absolutely the most fulfilling process I’ve ever had!! Working with a producer like Harry Hess was AMAZING!!! I grew up on his music when he was with (Harem Scarem) and now to be sitting in his studio with him and working on my songs was truly a “pinch me moment”!!! Both of us have ┬álaid back personalties, and we didn’t have any label rep breathing down our backs saying “move it along fellas” So that made it a very organic, real process and made the album sound that much better! I’m looking forward to finally getting it out their and seeing all that hard work pay off, But I got to say, That there is no way i could have done this without the never ending encouragement and support from the fans! You motivate me to get better and better at my craft! you deserve my best and that’s what I’ll give to you! That much I can promise!!!

I, for one, am really looking forward eagerly to the new release and follow-up. So far, it sounds fabulous.

Being able to follow all that you have achieved, and all that you have given, has been one of the greatest pleasures of the five years I have been back round these parts (in Stoney Creek, to be exact). You are such a credit to this city……and more……….

All the best, God bless, and I so look forward to seeing you entertain, delight, and inspire us once more…………..

Oh, and I am very deeply sorry to hear of the tragic loss in your family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers in a special way right now.
